What renews, and how to stop it
Do memberships renew automatically?
Weekly, monthly, 3-month and 6-month plans renew automatically at the same price, on the same payment method, when the period you’ve paid for ends, until you cancel. 12-month plans are paid once and don’t renew.
What about trials or special offers?
Our Terms say a trial or discounted first period moves to the standard, non-discounted rate when it ends, unless you cancel before it runs out.
How do I cancel?
Contact our support team through the support form or the chat assistant, and we’ll email you a link to cancel. You keep VIP or VIP Plus until your paid period runs out. Step by step on our billing & cancelling page.
Can I get a refund?
Payments are generally final, with exceptions where the law gives you a right to a refund, such as a 3-business-day right to cancel in some US states and Israel. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, the 14-day cooling-off period doesn’t apply because membership starts as soon as you pay. Details on our billing & cancelling page and in our Terms & Conditions.
Does cancelling delete my profile?
No. You stay a free member until you delete your profile yourself, which you can do any time from the Membership page in your account.
Do I have to pay to meet people?
No. Classic members can build a profile, browse, get daily match suggestions, send a limited number of messages a day and reply to VIP and VIP Plus members. VIP is for when you’d rather not count.
